We are so excited about our Malabrigo Yarns from Uruguay. Working closely with a cooperative of women from Uruguay, Malabrigo Yarns has developed a line of hand painted yarns of incredible softness and wonderful color variations. This pure merino worsted yarn is available in more than a hundred colors.We are carrying the worsted weight and the thick and thin chunky. This yarn is a joy to work with and knits up beautifully.

We just received a huge shipment of Misti Alpaca in new colors. We also have more of the Hand Dyed Worsted. 2 skeins made the lovely cable scarf in Kara's free class last month. Next month the chunky will arrive in a hand dyed. Misti Alpaca continues to be our #1 selling yarn. For good reason, it is irresistible.

We are pleased to offer the Mission Falls 1824 line of Cotton knitting yarn in all of the available colors. This 100% Cotton yarn is the perfect Aran weight wool yarn for almost any project, including the 100's of garment designs created by Mags Kandis. We are also carrying her pattern books. Great for summer projects.

Another new yarn company that we are very excited about is Pagewood Farms. We can't keep this in the store it is not like anything you've seen before. 1 skein makes a great scarf.

This ShiBui Sock yarn is lovely. Karen knit up a cute newborn baby sweatter that was as easy as could be. We are already on our 2nd order, it's a winner.

Misti Alpaca Handpaints Sock Yarn
Just in. Our new favorite sock yarn. We also used this yarn for our Boteh Scarf.50% superfine alpaca, 30% merino wool, 10% silk, 10% nylon 437 yards per 100-gram skein 7-8 stitches per inch on US 1-2 needles (fingering weight) Handwashing recommended (although machine-washing and -drying will produce a fabric with minimal shrinkage that appears only slightly felted) The average pair of socks will require 1 skein of this yarn Color 08 - Marino
