I've always marched to the beat of my own drum. I've always lived life on my own terms, and I've never followed the crowd or what was trendy. When I decided to dye yarn professionally, I knew that I had to come up with something unique. I looked at what everyone else was doing, techniques, etc., and then did it my own way.
My mom has always called me Wild Woman because I have been adventurous in my choice of where I live and work my entire life. I decided to incorporate that not only in the way I dye yarn and am inspired by colorways, but also literally the title of my indie yarn company. I have a beautiful daughter that I homeschool, and she has been a source of inspiration, particularly naming colorways.
Wild Woman Fibers yarn can only be found at Yarns, Threads & More in Durango, Colorado. I am the only truly local indie dyer selling yarn at the shop. Please stop in to say hi and check out the yarn selection!
