Yarn goddess and shop owner, Kara Walecki
has a passion for the artistry of knitting.
Learning to knit and crochet by her grandmothers
as a young girl, Kara dreamed of working with
fiber and textiles, designing women's clothing.
After years of college, various successful
business ventures and raising a family,
Kara rediscovered her passion for yarn.
She combined this passion along with her
business skills to open YARN.

Our mission ~ is to provide an inviting
place of inspiration and education for fiber
artists around the Four Corners Area.
