Macrame

Learn to tie macrame knots in a project-based class. The project is a fun decorative wall hanging.

God's Eye

Cost: $ 25

Learn how to make the infamous God?s Eye craft. This class is especially for elementary age children, but adults are welcome to attend as well.

Counted Cross Stitch

Cost: $ 30

Dive into the world of counted cross stitch with this easy and fun gnome project. Elementary age children are welcome at this class, but a parent must attend with them as a student.

Beginning Drop Spindle with Jane Wunder

Cost: $ 25

In this class you will learn how to spin 1 ply and 2 ply yarn using the simple spindle and your hand using Andean Plying Technique. The drop spindle is an easy tool to take anywhere

At Yarn Durango our staff is dedicated to assisting you in selecting the right project and materials to match your unique desires and skill level. Our store is fully stocked with the Four Corners’ premier selection of quality brand-name yarns in a variety of fibers, from bamboo to alpaca, as well as locally produced yarns and roving. We also have a comprehensive offering of notions, needles and hooks to make your projects more achievable.

We happily offer on-the-spot tips and tricks to overcome those frustrating obstacles that can often become barriers to project completion. And, of course, we can design classes to take you to the next step. There is a contagious passion here for sharing our love of fiber with men and women, young and old, locals and visitors alike.
